  • Timetable Changes

    From Sunday 29 March 2020 there will be some timetable changes as a result of Essex County Council tender results.

  • Our app just got better...

    From 11 March, we're moving to a new version of our East Anglia Buses app. The update will be phased out and will not reach all customers at once. The update will feature an improved journey planner and it will be easier to track your bus, too!

  • Jaywick - Clacton fares

    From Monday 2 March 2020 certain fares between Jaywick* and Clacton Town Centre will be revised.

  • Anywhere ticket price increase

    From Monday 24th February some Anywhere ticket prices will increase. Day tickets will increase by 30p to 50p. Weekly and monthly tickets (and day tickets on the app) will remain frozen.

  • App tracking issues

    There are currently issues with tracking on the app for Hedingham routes 74, 97, & 98. Work is ongoing to fix these issues. An update will be provided shortly.

  • New Routes for Clacton

    We are pleased to announce Hedingham will provide a replacement operation (with routes 74, X76, 97 & 98) between Colchester, Clacton and Walton from 5 January.

  • Open Top Bus

    Hop aboard our open top bus this summer in Clacton! Route 134 runs along the seafront to Holland on Sea every 30 mins Mon-Sat. Clacton Family Day ticket only £5.80.

  • Contactless

    From 11 August 2019 you will be able to buy tickets up to £30 on any Hedingham (or Chambers) bus using your credit/debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  • Active travel

    The Go-Ahead Group which owns Hedingham has worked with Run Friendly and the University of Leeds looking at active travel and the changes we could all make to our daily commute.

  • Hedingham donates bus

    Hedingham has donated a double decker bus to The Colne Community School & College in Brightlingsea for use as a common room. It will be used by pupils aged 11 and 12 in year 7 to sit in at break and lunch times.
